About Us

Hi, I’m Stu, the editor of Page 28. I’m a lifelong world traveler, and I founded Page 28 as a luxury travel blog written specifically for seasoned travelers who like to travel smart and in style.

I am a firm believer in doing my homework before I travel.

Because no matter how often we travel, we still have to make choices.

That’s why before I board a flight, I put in the hours to research those places and experiences that will leave me impressed beyond my already-high expectations.

The product of that research and first-hand experience is Page 28.

We exist solely to help you make the best choices for your travels.

I only travel with gear that’s stylish and rock-solid, and I believe in looking sharp and feeling comfortable in my clothes when I’m on the road, so I research and review men’s fashion, gear, and accessories that will deliver real value and classic style.

But this site is about more than just reviews and recommendations, it’s about ideas and feeding the passion that drives us to travel in many different ways.

When I’m not traveling, I love to talk about travel, and so I often interview accomplished, interesting people whose insights will inspire and elevate your travels.

A quick word about me:  I’ve worked as a producer and executive in the media, entertainment, and consulting industries for thirty years, and have been fortunate to travel the world for both business and pleasure.

I’m married and travel most often with my wife, an attorney, whose insights and perspective are my secret weapon to planning great trips.

One last thing – what does the name Page 28 mean?

Page 28 is the last page of your passport (if you’re a U.S. passport holder).  I chose the name because to me, a full passport is the mark of a life well lived.

The topics we write about are:

  • Reviews of luxury hotels, hidden-gem boutique hotels, and luxury
    resorts.
  • Recommendations on destinations for travelers seeking to stay one step
ahead of the crowds and the trends.
  • Guides on history and culture-related travel.
  • Reviews and recommendations of films, streaming series, and books to
    enrich your travel experiences.
  • Adventure and ecotravel, in particular hiking and water sports.
  • Restaurant and dining reviews and recommendations, from fine-dining to
in-home dining experiences to street food.
